Room Selection for Returning Students without a Roommate
Students who do not have a roommate may not participate in the same room lottery on February 18th & 19th or the Traditional Hall Room Lottery on February 25th & 26th. These students will be assigned to a room based on preferences entered online by Friday, February 29, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
Students may go online now at info.ship.edu, Student SIS, enter their secure information, and select Housing. Students will find the latest housing news and a button labeled "Go to Housing". Select this button to see the new online housing information. In this area students will find MyHousing Overview, Personal Preferences, Room Preferences, Roommate Requests, and Room Selection.
My Housing Overview gives a summary of current information. Students will see general information, current room assignment if applicable, roommates, future roommate information, and the housing lottery information.
On the left hand side of the screen students will find these navigation buttons:
Personal Preferences - This area is used to collect personal roommate information. Students may change this area at any time even if they are NOT currently in a room lottery. The current information will be considered when the housing office makes any room assignments. It is not semester specific.
