Liability Disclaimer for Students Housed in Privately Owned Facilities
Shippensburg University maintains an off-campus housing list. This list is maintained for the convenience of the student and should not be taken to imply that the University has inspected or approved any of the off-campus housing.
Shippensburg University will not knowingly assist or support any landlord who engages in unlawful housing discrimination.
The off-campus housing list is only a record of possible openings in the community. This list does not reflect which properties are currently rented/available. In issuing this list, Shippensburg University assumes no responsibility for the condition of the housing or the safety or well being of the student while he or she resides off campus.
Students residing off campus may wish to purchase renters insurance.
