Shippensburg University will not knowingly assist or support any landlord who engages in unlawful housing discrimination.

The off-campus housing list is only a record of possible openings in the community. This list does not reflect which properties are currently rented/available. In issuing this list, Shippensburg University assumes no responsibility for the condition of the housing or the safety or well being of the student while he or she resides off campus.

Students residing off campus may wish to purchase renters insurance.

Local newspapers are another good resource for off-campus housing. The News Chronicle is published on Tuesdays and Fridays (717-532-4101) and the Shippensburg Sentinel is published on Wednesdays and Saturdays (717-530-2444). Both can be found in local convenience stores, on campus in the Cumberland Union Building, and in the Lehman Library on campus.
